Did you know that more than 1 in 5 undergraduate students in the United States struggle with food insecurity?
Join us on Giving Tuesday as we come together to combat food insecurity and build a stronger, more resilient Pratt community. 🍎
On Tuesday, November 28th, we invite you to be part of a profound change at Pratt Institute. This year, we’re directing all GivingTuesday gifts to our Food Insecurity Fund so that our Pratt students can focus more on their studies and less on affording their next healthy meal. We’re on a mission to address a critical issue that affects not only our students but the entire world of higher education — food insecurity.
According to a representative survey conducted by the U.S. Department of Education with 100,000 participants, these statistics reveal a harsh reality that many of our students face. This is a problem that transcends geographic boundaries, impacting physical and mental health, and academic performance.
With your contribution, no matter the size, we can extend our reach to address food insecurity on our campus, ensuring our students can focus. Together we’re nourishing both the minds and bodies of our Pratt students, and offering security, well-being, and hope for a brighter future.
